Participation is straightforward. Follow these steps and start contributing to research right away.
Download the App
Get the free track4science app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
Create Your Account
Sign up with your name, email, and optional vehicle preferences for accurate CO₂ calculations.
Give Your Consent
Agree to data collection. Sensor data is required — surveys and prize draws are entirely optional.
Configure Your Phone
Enable location access and disable battery optimization so the app can track reliably in the background.
Optional: Take Surveys
Complete short surveys (about 5 min, 10 questions) and earn 7 additional lottery tickets for each one.
Just Live Your Life
The app records your trips automatically. There's nothing else to do — just go about your day as usual.
